Ed's previous positions include serving as Managing Director & Chief Security Officer for Lone Star Global Acquisitions and Hudson Advisors L.P., Vice President of Associate and Workplace Security for MetLife, Global Head of Security for Thomson Reuters, Director of Security for the Empire State Building / Empire State Realty Trust, and Vice President of Global Security & Business Continuity for the C.I.T. Group. He also functioned as the Director for Headquarters & Global Security Operations for Pfizer and the Senior Security Analyst for Shearer & Associates, providing management and technical support to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
At NOBLE, Ed is leading the Critical Infrastructure practice. The role reinforces the NOBLE commitment to be the Nation's trusted partner in readiness by providing the essential services in strengthening and maintaining a secure, functioning, and resilient U.S. infrastructure. The support NOBLE provides to the private and government sectors institutes the protective framework for the vital assets essential for national and economic security, national public health and safety, or any combination thereof. Ed's military, law enforcement, and corporate experience is best suited to facilitate the protection and readiness needs of NOBLE's government and private sector clients.
Ed is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Army and served in various critical military police leadership assignments, including the Pentagon and locations throughout the U.S. and Europe. His education includes a B.S. from Western Carolina University, an M.P.A. from the University of Oklahoma, and completion of the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management Senior Executive Leadership Program, F.B.I. National Academy, and the Army Command and General Staff College. Further demonstrating his commitment to education, he was awarded the academic title of Assistant Professor while serving as the Chief of Military Science at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. Besides his work commitments, Ed serves on non-profit boards, committees, and councils, demonstrating his commitment to public service. He is a dynamic public speaker and was featured on the cover of Security Magazine in January 2012, marking his influence in the field.
