This intensive 5-day course is designed to transform law enforcement officers of all experience levels into proficient narcotics investigators, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge for effective drug investigations and much more. The curriculum encompasses a comprehensive range of topics that will assist investigators in both narcotics investigations and major crime investigations. This class utilizes a 50/50 combination of classroom education and interactive hands-on scenarios, as well as case study analyses that simulate real-world situations faced by narcotics investigators. The program caters to both officers aspiring to enter the field of narcotics and seasoned investigators seeking to enhance their skills and stay abreast of evolving methodologies.
Throughout the course, attendees will learn about various narcotic substances, their effects, and the networks involved in their distribution. Additionally, the training will cover advanced investigative techniques, report writing, search warrants, raid planning, liability, confidential informants, evidence collection, and more to ensure that officers are prepared to conduct thorough and effective investigations.
